Shaft torque sensors, torque transducers with slip ring transmission (measuring ranges 2 Nm to 1 kNm) / 4501A

Torque sensors Type 4501A use high-reliability slip-rings to transfer power and signal to and from the rotating strain-gaged shaft. Industry standard mV/V output allows use with standard strain gage equipment.

4501A

Torque sensors Type 4501A use high-reliability slip-rings to transfer power and signal to and from the rotating strain-gaged shaft. Industry standard mV/V output allows use with standard strain gage equipment.
Main features / advantages
  • Slip ring-based torque sensors with mV/V output
  • Compact design
  • Operational up to 3000 rpm
  • Connections: 1/4" hex socket (DIN3126), square socket or cylindrical shaft ends
  • Integrated speed and angle measurement
Torque sensors Type 4501A work in accordance with the DMS principle and supply an analog output signal in mV/V. They are optimized for use in screw driving assembly. Not only the feeding of the supply voltage but also transmission of the measurement signal between the rotating shaft and the case take place via high-quality, long-life slip rings. They are robust and simple to operate. In combination with a large selection of measurement and evaluation systems, the ideal components for a precise and inexpensive measurement value acquisition of torques are available.
