Shaft torque sensors, basic line torque transducers (measuring ranges 1 to 1000 Nm) / 4520A

Torque sensors of Type 4520A operate on the strain gage principle and supply an analog output signal of ±0 ... 10 VDC which is transmitted without contact.

4520A

Torque sensors of Type 4520A operate on the strain gage principle and supply an analog output signal of ±0 ... 10 VDC which is transmitted without contact.
Main features / advantages
  • Shaft torque transducers with integrated speed measurement
  • Speed up to 10000 1/min
  • Integral speed measurement with 60 pulses/revolution
  • Well suited for static and dynamic measurements with a cut-off frequency (–3 dB) 1,5 kHz
  • Analog output signal of ±0 ... 10 VDC
The robust torque sensors of Type 4520A for measuring torque on rotating shafts offer particularly good value for money and are recommended primarily as an entry-level solution for torque measurement. Frequency modulation is used to transmit the torque signal from the rotating shaft without contact and convert it into an analog signal. The speed signal at 60 pulses/rev. is available as TTL signal level. An external electrical control input is provided as standard.
