Multichannel charge amplifiers, voltage amplifiers, ±2000 to ±20000 pC / 5159A

These multichannel charge amplifiers convert the charge signal from piezoelectric cavity pressure sensors and the signal from thermocouples into a proportional voltage signal or a digital signal according to EUROMAP 75 with Varan real time protocol. These amplifiers have been developed for industrial use with injection molding machines.

5159A

These multichannel charge amplifiers convert the charge signal from piezoelectric cavity pressure sensors and the signal from thermocouples into a proportional voltage signal or a digital signal according to EUROMAP 75 with Varan real time protocol. These amplifiers have been developed for industrial use with injection molding machines.
Main features / advantages
  • Charge and thermocouple amplifier
  • Analog or digital output
  • Digital versions are cascadable
  • Optional self-optimizing switch-over output (SLP option)
  • Industrial case with IP54 protection
The Type 5159A multichannel charge amplifier family includes one or four charge signal inputs for piezoelectric cavity pressure sensors. Amplifiers equipped with two temperature sensor inputs are provided with two charge signal inputs for piezoelectric cavity pressure sensors. In addition to the conventional single-channel connecter type BNC, the four-channel charge amplifiers also feature a multi-channel cable technology. Two main types are offered: an analogue and a digital. The analogue variants have a voltage output of 0 ... 10 V and the digital variants, according to EUROMAP 75, are available as the interface to the injection molding machine. For the digital versions, the real-time ethernet protocol Varan is available with bus connectors which allow cascading. The option SLP (Switch Level Processing: self-optimizing switch-over point output) automatically detects the volumetric filling of the mold, and in each cycle, sends a control signal to the injection molding machine. The mold must be equipped with a measuring cavity pressure sensor near the gate.
