This portable device is a mobile, battery-powered charge generator for functional test and basic adjustment of charge amplifiers. The manual controls allow fast adjustment of the desired signal output. The "On" button is protected against accidental triggering.

This charge generator can be connected instead of a sensor or in parallel in addition to a sensor in the measuring chain. The device should only be attached to one single amplifier each time. The cables used for connection of the charge generator to the amplifier should not exceed a length of 3 m. The visual adjustment via the potentiometer allows an accuracy of <±3%, whereby the accuracy for a certain range can be increased by previous counter measurement of the output voltage.
