Measuring amplifiers for strain gauge and resistive travel sensors, analog output ±5, ±10 V / 4701A

These industrial measuring amplifiers can be used for sensors with strain gauge full bridge design (e.g. torque or force load) or for resistive displacement sensors with potentiometric design.

4701A

These industrial measuring amplifiers can be used for sensors with strain gauge full bridge design (e.g. torque or force load) or for resistive displacement sensors with potentiometric design.
Main features / advantages
  • Specific variants for strain gauge input: 0.5 … 5.0 mV/V, full bridge or potentiometer
  • Analog output: ±5 V or ±10 V
  • Measuring deviation: 0.1 % FS
  • 24 VDC power supply
  • Robust metal housing

The measuring amplifier Type 4701A can be connected to the sensor and power supply or analog output, either through cable bushings directly at the soldering terminals inside the housing (version A) or via plug connectors (version B for strain gauge sensors or version C for resistive travel sensors). Gain adjustment is performed by fixed resistors (coarse tuning) and additionally by a potentiometer (fine adjustment). For simple installation, the robust metal housing of the amplifier is equipped with two holes for M4 screws.
