Preloading sets for triaxial and big force sensors (90x7C, 90x8C, 9081, 9091) / PL-Sets

These standardized pretensioning elements consist of high strength stainless steel bolts, which forms are optimized for a minimized force shunt and very high preloads.

PL-Sets

These standardized pretensioning elements consist of high strength stainless steel bolts, which forms are optimized for a minimized force shunt and very high preloads.
Main features / advantages
  • Elastic pretensioning bolt fitting triaxial force sensors
  • Optimized elements for tension, compression and shear force measurement
  • Low force shunt
  • Designed to apply very high preloads with simple hand tools
  • Recessed ring nut for minimum overall height

The standardized pretensioning sets for uniaxial and triaxial force sensors contain everything necessary for optimal installation: bolt, ring nut, centering ring and where necessary a sliding disk. For very high preload forces which can not be imposed using a wrench, the two sets 9455S and 9456S offer a special superbolt tension nut. This allows enormously high forces to be applied with a simple hexagon torque wrench.

These standardized pretensioning elements are used for mounting triaxial force sensors of Types 90x7C and 90x8C as well as ring force transducers of Types 9081C and 9091C.
