9240A

These measuring pins based on piezoelectric sensor technology are designed for indirect force measurement in machine structures, tools, etc. in order to support industrial monitoring tasks.
Main features / advantages
  • Ground-isolated piezoelectric force sensor
  • Preloading allows for measurement of tensile and compression forces
  • Can be fixed in the mounting bore (ø8 mm) in any depth and direction
The front part of the sensor is sensitive to transversal forces. Shaped as a cylindrical pin, all it needs for installation is a 8 mm borehole. An integrated clamping system is used to preload the sensor in the borehole – enabling it to detect tensile and compressive forces in the machine structure. The ceramic coated body sleeve allows for mounting the sensor ground insulated.
