Kistler supports para-cycling athlete Sandra Stöckli

Winterthur, February 2023 - World-class sport meets world-class technology: Kistler is entering into a three-year partnership with Sandra Stöckli, the Swiss para-cycling athlete. The global leader in measurement technology will support her as she heads for the 2024 Paralympic Games. Shared values and a common ambition to achieve top performance are the ideal foundations for a successful collaboration. Kistler will also be able to draw on its expertise in measurement technology to give Sandra any support she may need with optimizing her equipment.

"We're absolutely delighted about our collaboration with Sandra Stöckli. As an athlete at the top of her sport, she stands for exactly the same values that we live by here at Kistler," says Rolf Sonderegger, CEO of the Kistler Group. "She views challenges as opportunities, she is driven by her passion, and she's a team player – so she's a perfect match for us".

On the way to the 2024 Paralympic Games

Sandra Stöckli can look back on a successful year: she took two bronze medals at the World Championships in Quebec, and she is the current winner of the overall World Cup in Para-Cycling. But that's not nearly enough for this 37-year-old athlete. In 2024, Paris will host the Paralympic Games – where Sandra also cherishes ambitions: "I want to deliver the best performance I possibly can, and hopefully I'll be a successful representative of Switzerland's national colors again in Paris."

Perfection in equipment

The handbike is an important factor in Sandra Stöckli's success, so she insists on personally driving the development of her bike ahead. With Kistler by her side, she can now count on the support of a partner with vast experience of dynamic measurement technology. "We'll be working together to explore how we can use our knowledge and our solutions to help optimize Sandra's equipment," Rolf Sonderegger adds in conclusion.
